Our Year 7 students have been showcasing their creativity and skills in their design technology lessons by crafting beautiful vessels from sustainable pine, bamboo and aluminium. Using traditional joining methods and stains, they have created unique and functional pieces.

The project didn’t stop there! Students were also tasked with researching the best materials to add to their creations to attract and welcome bugs, creating cozy homes for our little insect friends. This hands-on project not only taught them valuable design and construction techniques but also emphasised the importance of sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Well done, Year 7, for combining innovation with eco-friendly practices and making a positive impact on our environment.
