Sir William Perkins's School are Finalists for Independent School of the Year for Environmental Achievement
Sustainability is embedded into our whole school community and is a high priority. As a school we are aware of our role to educate and collaborate and we champion Sustainability and Climate Change Education so that each member of our community acquires the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and value necessary to shape a sustainable future and the impact of our practice reverberates in school, in the local community and nationally. SWPS has a social responsibility to equip our community with the skills and knowledge to understand the impact of current human behaviour on the planet and ways to change it.
Sustainability is an essential part of our educational offering at SWPS and we aspire for each member of our community to appreciate, value, and connect with the natural world. Our aim is to encourage our community to appreciate the advantages of living in a cleaner, greener environment.
