For their last day in Year 11, our GCSE Students enjoyed a SWPS breakfast in the Atrium with the traditional school uniform being transformed into some new creative designs. There was a buzz of excitement as the students signed shirts in the morning and the final assembly commenced. During the assembly, Mrs Tham-Williams – Head of Year 11 – spoke about and reminisced over the time they had all spent together, later playing the piano whilst everyone enjoyed a slide show of photographs of the year group throughout their time at SWPS.
The celebrations continued with a theatre trip to see Les Misérables. It was a wonderful occasion, and it was fantastic to see all the students enjoying the day. A massive thank you to Mrs Tham-Williams for giving the Year 11s such a wonderful final day.
We look forward to welcoming our Year 11s back to the Sixth Form in September, and wish those moving on to pastures new the very best for the future. We are so proud of our Year 11s and what they have achieved during their time at SPWS.
