Our SWPS community came together at Henley Royal Regatta. The Regatta is a highlight in the British rowing summer programme and brings together crews of the very highest quality. SWPS had qualified two boats for the Regatta this year, and our presence is testament to the outstanding rowing achievements of our students and staff.
SWPS proudly hosted a marquee to welcome rowers, rowing staff, alumnae, and the broader school community. It was a day filled with joy, with everyone gathering to enjoy a delightful lunch and witness the thrilling rowing competitions. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement and school spirit.
The event also served as a bridge between generations. Alumnae shared their memories of the school and former rowers mixed with the next generation of SWPS athletes. It was heartening to see, and the Regatta not only celebrated our current athletes but also highlighted the enduring legacy of our school’s rowing programme.
