Sixth Form Open Evening

The SWPS sixth form open evening welcomed students and their families to the event giving them the opportunity to discover the different A Level subjects on offer and the myriad of excellent co-curricular opportunities that are available to Sixth Form students. During the evening there was an opportunity to meet our new Head, Ms Debbie Picton, a presentation from the Director of Sixth Form, Mr Conor Johnston and a chance for students to discuss life in the Sixth Form with the Head Prefect and current members of Years 12 and 13.  Our visitors were encouraged to visit the Sixth Form Centre and see all the facilities on offer, they also had the opportunity to mingle with Heads of Departments, subject staff and Prefects as well as visit co-curricular stands.  SWPS Sixth Form offers a wide variety of co-curricular and enrichment activities for students, overseas, volunteering and charity work and the annual Sixth Form Prom.  We hope the event helped to inspire and guide the students through the full range of choices and exciting opportunities that are available at SWPS Sixth Form as well as to assure them that they will be taking on the challenges of A Level in a highly supportive and positive environment.  Don't just take our word for it, click here to find out what some of our current students have to say about the SWPS Sixth Form.
