SWPS Virtual Summer Concert 2021

A fantastic way to end the year: SWPS held it's Virtual Summer Concert to provide the opportunity for all SWPS musicians who were unable to showcase their talents due to the cancellation of our usually scheduled programme of concerts, to take to the stage and impress their friends, families and teachers.

Summer Chamber Concert 2021

Thirty of our advanced musicians recently recorded a ‘virtual summer chamber concert’. Each student’s solo was recorded separately in the Jarvis Room over the course of two days.

The programme is approximately in ‘bubble group’ order; the concert starts with the Year 8s and 9s, followed by Year 10s, then a mix of Year 11s and 12s, ending with Tess in Year 13 singing in her last SWPS concert.

Elmbridge Literary Competition 2021

Congratulations to Nina Truesdale (Year 8), who won first place for her short story ‘The Colours of Music’  in the Elmbridge Literary Competition 2021.
