Community & Partnerships

At Sir William Perkins’s School, building meaningful connections, both locally and beyond, is at the heart of everything we do. Our students thrive through enriching partnerships with universities, organisations, and experts across a wide range of fields, opening doors to new ideas, experiences, and opportunities.

We are proud to be growing our network of collaborations, including our exciting new partnership with Chertsey Cricket Club, and strengthening ties with neighbouring schools – highlighted by our spectacular 300th Anniversary Concert in 2025.

Our staff are equally passionate about learning and sharing. This year marks the launch of our very first Teaching and Learning Summit, where we will welcome educators from across the region to explore innovative approaches like adaptive teaching.

Making a difference is more than a motto – it’s a mission. As part of our 2024–2030 strategy, we are deepening our relationship with Runnymede, dedicating time and energy to enhance the green spaces we all enjoy, such as during our beloved Year 7 Picnic.

Our annual Make a Difference Day (MAD Day) sees students roll up their sleeves to support local charities and initiatives. In 2025 alone, our community has already contributed over 1,725 hours of volunteering all as part of a busy year of volunteering.  We’re expanding these opportunities so every student can experience the joy of giving back.
