The Head's Welcome
It is my pleasure to introduce you to our wonderful school; a lively and welcoming community where every student is supported to achieve great things, and where curiosity, ambition and generosity thrive.
At Sir William Perkins's School, students are at our heart. We expect the best from them, and in return they can expect the best from us. We provide teaching of the highest quality, where each individual is stretched and challenged and given the tailored support and attention required.
We are a warm and friendly school: we know our students, their talents, hopes and aspirations, and we work with them to develop confidence, leadership skills and an ability to collaborate with others.
With access to a diverse co-curricular programme, students are accomplished all-rounders with university statements studded with personal achievements and successes. Our students leave us in Year 13 with determination and clearly defined ambition, ready to make their mark on the world.

Ms Debbie Picton MA (Oxon) is the Head at Sir William Perkins's School.
She is an Oxford graduate of Classics, Debbie Picton began her career at Highgate School, and following a variety of roles, rose to Deputy Head of Sixth Form and Head of Higher Education. Prior to joining Bancroft’s School in her current position as Senior Deputy Head, Debbie worked at North London Collegiate School as Assistant Head, Director of Sixth Form.
Ms Picton therefore has diverse experience of both single sex and co-educational schools.
She is an avid reader, enjoys board games and spending time with her family.

The Head Prefect and Deputy Head Prefects are appointed by the student body of the Lower Sixth, and have a high profile with diverse responsibilities.
These include duties such as meeting with the Head, Deputy Head and Head of Sixth Form to discuss issues pertaining to the student body, chairing the School Council Meetings, presenting and assisting at events, and leading the Senior Sixth in their leadership of the School, representing their views and those of younger students.
School Council
All students will be encouraged to get involved in the running of the School by taking on roles within the form and by representing their peers at School Council meetings, which are chaired by the Head Girl's Team.
There are many opportunities to contribute to the life and development of the School, take on leadership roles and train as mentors to support younger students.
