"I love being at SWPS! All of the events before I started meant I'd already made friends before my first day! The teachers are all really nice and supportive and I'm enjoying lots of new clubs on offer to us!"

"Sixth form at SWPS offers us freedom and the ability to concentrate on subjects we're passionate about. The work is challenging but more than manageable with our free study periods and even more enjoyable to be able to sit down with friends and work through problems together."

About us

Sir William Perkins’s School is an independent day school for girls aged 11-18 situated on 13 acres of greenbelt land.
Our vision is to build confidence, integrity and excellence in a caring, innovative and motivated community, giving each student the best possible chance of achieving their full potential. Taking with them sound values, and a breadth of skills and knowledge - ready to take on the world!

We offer a broad and balanced curriculum, encouraging curiosity and a drive to explore and engage in subject-matter independently.

At SWPS education is about more than grades and exam results, we strive to produce well-rounded students equipped with skills that enable them to leave their mark on their communities and the wider world around them.

We strive to support all students' mental, physical and emotional wellbeing while in our care, through the use of a strong pastoral structure, counselling resources, Wellbeing Room and a 'Wellbeing Week' at least once a term!
