Learning Support

The School recognises that high quality teaching, differentiated for individual pupils is the first step to responding to students who have or may have SEND, such as Dyslexia or Attention Deficit. Class teachers are the first person to offer support to the pupil in order for their potential to be achieved. Pupils’ needs are then reviewed regularly and individual support may be offered outside of lessons to augment the support given in class. This is agreed with the Learning Support Coordinator who is also responsible for examination access arrangements.
